Planned Giving Home

The mission of the bach choir of bethlehem inspires and enriches people through the transformative power of the music of J.S. Bach and composers who influenced or were influenced by Bach, by pursuing excellence in performance and education to build, strengthen, and sustain communities, and to foster a life-long passion for the choral arts.

Planned Giving

Your planned gift can be a blend of assets that allow you to see the impact of your giving today, with a portion to provide support in the future. For example, you can give a cash gift to our general operating or endowment funds now, with a pledge to fulfill your planned gift through stocks, and IRA distribution or bequest in the future. Income earned on an endowment gift provides both annual and lasting support.

Testimonials
Donors who have given the gift of music
“

Stephen Link's parents loved classical musical, and they passed that legacy on to Steve and his family. A longtime Guarantor and Heritage Society member, he spent many Festivals listening to Mass in B Minorfloating through the windows of Packer Chapel to the community assembled on the lawn outside. He shares, "As the final notes of the Mass hung suspended in the air of the silent church, the feeling was indescribable and unforgettable."

Rather than wait until the end of life to establish this legacy through a remainder interest in Steve's retirement fund, he and his family are building the Link Family Endowment Fund, while concurrently providing outright funding through the family's Donor Advised Fund. Through thoughtful planned giving, Steve and his family are intentionally planning to share this joyful legacy with current and future generations.

"Experiencing the joy of Bach is a wonderful legacy to give to a family. My late husband, Bill Fairbairn, and I wanted to leave that legacy on to our children and grandchildren and others. Bill was an enthusiastic Choir member for many years and had served on the Bach Board, so the Choir meant a great deal to him and to me."

"Over time, we took several avenues to pass the Bach Legacy on and become Guarantors, established two Chair positions and endowed the Bach Choir Development Fund. After Bill's death, I realized that Lifetime Guarantorship was a further way to ensure the joy of Bach for our children and grandchildren. Now all three of our children are Lifetime Guarantors, a status they will each pass on to one of their children. It warms my heart to know they can enjoy the Bach Legacy as we have."

Ursie Fairbairn
Lifetime Guarantor and Heritage Society Member
